Europe and Central Asia
Women’s groups and networks from Europe, Caucus and Central Asia (being in the same UNECE region) have different challenges. One of the challenges are language barriers. It is partially addressed by translation and dissemination of key resources into several languages, including Russian.
Women’s Major Group is one of the leading actors on establishing the regional mechanism for civil society engagement in the UNECE area. Meaning we play a very active role in facilitating the regional network. To learn more access here.
The WMG OP focal point for Europe and Central Asia is the Women Engage for a Common Future (WECF). To join the regional listserv please contact hanna.gunnarsson@wecf.org.
