HLPF 2019: Chantal Umuhoza’s Intervention on Rwanda VNR

“Rwanda needs to ensure wider inclusion and non discrimination on any ground as articulated in Rwanda’s constitution. We also call on Rwanda to speed up the ratification of the AU protocol on the Human Rights for older people and the National Elderly Policy”.

Chantal Umuhoza (SPECTRA) delivered her intervention on behalf of the Women’s Major Group, on Rwanda Voluntary National Review, during the 18th meeting of the HLPF, held in New York, at the UNHQ, on 17th July 2019.
