HLPF 2018: Nozipho Wright’s Review on SDG 7, Energy

The WMG, commend member states and development partners for work done so far to integrate gender issues in energy policies and programmes. Though it has taken almost 20 years to reach this minimal stage. Much more action and much faster is needed now!!

Nophizo Whrigt (ENERGIA, Botswana) and Sascha Gabizon (WECF, Netherlands) delivered their combined statement on behalf of the Women’s Major Group, during the 7th meeting: Review of SDGs implementation, SDG 7 – Energy, at the High-level Political Forum 2018, held in New York, at the UNHQ on 10th July.
