HLPF 2017: Buki Williams's QA Response on SDG 5

“Achieving gender equality must benefit all women and girls. We must recognize that women and girls are not a homogenous group, gender is not a binary and as such women in all their diversity and multiplicities must be seen as partners in the implementation of the SDGs”

Buky Williams (Education as a Vaccine) delivered her combined statement on behalf of the Women’s Major Group, during the Session on Review of SDG 5 implementation, held in New York, at the High-level Political Forum, on the 12th July.
